Nettie Mae's Suite

Nettie Mae's Suite is named in honor of Nettie Marie Smith Huffer (1917-2002), the mother of the founder of Allen Birthing Center. Nettie Mae was pregnant ten times and raised six children to adulthood. She was the epitome of American's strong birthing women whose bodies birthed frequently without difficulties. She instilled in her only daughter's heart the belief that motherhood is the highest honor that can be bestowed on any woman.
