"It is an extreme honor and privilege to be invited into the Allen Birthing Center family. Our own family already has such strong emotional ties to this wonderful, historic home. Our middle daughter was the second baby born in one of the beautiful birthing rooms upstairs into the careful and loving hands of the now retired Rebecca Burpo. Our last birth was equally amazing and memorable with our dear friend, Amy Giles, tenderly guiding my husband's hands through the birth. He still feels a great sense of pride when relaying how he participated in our special home birth."

Leslie holds a Bachelors degree in Nursing from TWU and was a colleague of Amy's at the Parkland School of Nurse-Midwifery. There she earned her certificate in Nurse-Midwifery. She later attended State University of New York, Stony Brook, where she obtained her Masters degree in Nurse-Midwifery.

Leslie is proud to have served as a Nurse-Midwife at Parkland Hospital for nine years where she delivered over 3,000 babies. Leslie is enjoying applying her vast experience into a more holistic and natural setting at the Allen Birthing Center.
